Ashmore Men’s Shed brings local men together through hands-on activities and everyday conversation. It offers a place to spend time with others, share knowledge and work on something worthwhile.

Find your own way to get involved

Woodworking, metalworking, IT projects and CNC machining are among the activities at the Shed. Members bring different levels of experience. Some have spent a lifetime using tools; others are trying something new.

There is room to learn at your own pace, ask questions and enjoy the company around you.

Connections beyond the workbench

Working alongside someone often makes conversation easier. A shared task or a break for a cuppa can be a chance to get to know people and feel part of the local community.

Members also contribute practical skills to projects for schools, charities and community groups.
